HPI Hellfire

HPI Hellfire
The HPI Hellfire is a 1/8 scale truck, designed not as a copy or a modified version of some previous buggy, but as a new truck, with many great things about it. Its manufacturers wanted to come up with a durable, tough truck, that offers much steering capability and with a powerful engine, and it seems that they have succeeded. Not only has the internal drive ratio been optimized in order to achieve better handling and higher speeds, but also its low center of gravity allows great stability and better suspension in corners.

The HPI Hellfire is ready to run, and you will find in the pack the four wheel drive, a Nitro Star k4.6 HO engine, fully adjustable suspensions and the radio gear. Also HPI provides very detailed and helpful owner's manual and documentation, as well as numerous accessories to help you tweak your car the best way you see fit. Some other things that you have to buy in order to get started are 8 AA batteries, nitro, fuel bottle, glow igniter, air filter oil, after run oil and a flathead screwdriver. When everything is in place, it's time for action! The Hellfire reaches some high speeds, 40 mph and even more, can perform many stunts and jumps thanks to its suspensions and is easy to handle, so it's really fun. Its upper side chassis is pretty impressive and so is the underside chassis.

The hex head hardware that has been used and on the underside, the edges are curved, in order to prevent dirt and debris from damaging the internal gear. Its brakes are adjustable, and another plus for the HPI Hellfire is the fact that is lighter than other monster trucks, which helps it accelerate or decelerate quickly in comparison with its rivals. It's really a great thing that the manufacturers created a whole new concept of a RC truck, because they also thought about the operator's preferences or needs, and added a fuel tube and wire routing, that prevent fuel leak or internal damage. All in all, the HPI Hellfire is a capable truck that will do great in off road racing.
