It's a champ when it comes to durability and performance. It can reach speeds of up to 23 mph with 6 cell battery pack and up to 30 mph with 7 cell battery pack.

The center of gravity has been lowered, in order to achieve higher speeds and better rounding of corners. It has a very solid structure, its chassis is made of molded composite, that assures its durability, it has huge tires, bumpers and skid plates. A thrilling innovation that it brings forth is the forward-reverse acceleration, so when it bumps into a rock or something, you don't have to take the trouble to go and get the car. Instead of that, you can simply turn it in reverse. Another great thing is that it has eight oil filled shocks, 4'' ground clearance and a Twin Titan fan-cooled 550 motor. So it is a powerful platform, that provides lots of torque and is also durable. What may be a bit of a downside is its weight: it weighs 10 lbs.

When loaded with the batteries and when you have to change the two packs of batteries, instead of just one, it may take a little bit longer. But other than that, the Traxxas E Maxx will perform some amazing stunts off road and can compete with other trucks, even nitro ones. In order to get started, you will need to buy a 7.2 volt batteries pack, eight AA batteries and a charger. Other tools like the radio transmitter come included in the pack.
