Traxxas Jato 3.3 Radio Controlled Car review

Traxxas Jato 3.3 Radio Controlled Cars

Traxxas Jato is a ready to run nitro RC car with a 3.3 engine. The new Traxxas Jato 3.3 is pretty impressive and has done a good job when it was tested by its buyers. The best thing it has going on for itself is its speed, that is much higher than for other radio controlled cars. It reaches 65 mph in just 4.2 seconds and it does good on road, as well as off road, which is pretty cool, thanks to its two speed transmission, GTR shocks and zero-bump steer-suspension. This shows that it's really versatile and easy to handle, even on off road terrain.

Another great thing about it is its adjustable suspension, that offers many ways in which you can adjust its ride heights, dampening and shock positions, in order to make it slide nicely through its competitors. And starting and fueling this Jato is really easy, thanks to the patented EZ start system. So just by pushing the EZ button, you can get started and it's also worth noting that the EZ system also monitors the starting process and detects any anomalies. The chassis is really tough and it's built in such a way as to protect the gear and the rest of the components from debris that may come from the road. Its wheelie bar and Anaconda 2.8 inch treads are also of great help when performing stunts and for making sure your car is still in one piece. Additional stuff that you need to buy for your Traxxas Jato 3.3 are a 7.2v battery pack for the EZ start system, that doesn't come included in the original pack, eight AA batteries for its radio and 20% nitro fuel.

In a word, Traxxas Jato is awesome, but since nothing is perfect, there are a couple of things that are a bit of a downside: the turn buckles and shock towers are not very durable, the fact that it's a low maintenance car, and maybe, as well as the fact that it's not an all wheel drive. All in all, Traxxas Jato is a great addition for a RC cars fan, due to its high speed in comparison with other nitro trucks, adjustability and durability.
